​WyShonda Marshall is an artist, photographer, and founder of Flowers and Rosemary, a brand that redefines luxury as a form of self-care and home as a place of beauty, comfort, and cultural preservation. Born and raised in Uptown New Orleans, WyShonda’s work is deeply rooted in storytelling, capturing the essence of Black life—its elegance, its nostalgia, and its depth. Whether through photography that reclaims racial narratives or through fine fragrances and home ambiance that create a sense of peace, her artistry is a tribute to legacy and love.

Flowers and Rosemary was born from a deep understanding that self-care is not just essential for survival—it is vital to our happiness. Resilience aside, we deserve goodness. WyShonda was inspired by the matriarchs of her family, her grandmothers Dorothy Flowers and Rosemary Marshall, who created homes in tiny spaces and made them feel like mansions. Family and community were cultivated in the Magnolia Projects, where both of her grandmothers lived in the same building. Their doors were unlocked all day—not out of carelessness, but because visitors were always welcome. The same faces returned so often that leaving the door unlocked was simply easier. Their homes weren’t just places; they were sanctuaries—where love, style, and warmth coexisted.

As a child, WyShonda treasured watching her grandmothers bask in their natural glory—dressing up in their finest, applying perfume with care, and curating an environment that made people want to stop by every single day. They showed her that luxury isn’t about square footage—it’s about the feeling you create. This deep connection to home and heritage is reflected in every product she creates. Each fragrance, each name, is intentionally chosen—a tribute to a family member, a cherished moment, or an experience that shaped her journey.
